Last updated: 2 September 2026

What this app is

gog is a personal command-line tool used by a single person, its owner, to access their own Google account data (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive and related Workspace services) through Google's APIs.

What data is accessed

With the owner's explicit consent through Google's OAuth flow, gog reads and, when requested by the owner, modifies data in the owner's own Google account. It never accesses any other person's account.

How data is stored and used

Google API Services User Data Policy

gog's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access

Access can be revoked at any time from the owner's Google account permissions page, or by deleting the stored credentials on the owner's machine.
